In this Naruto Episode, it is shown that as Sasuke, Sakura and Naruto are heading towards the examination hall they met Kakashi. He informed them that this test could be held in a group of three only. So Sasuke and Naruto need to pressurized Sakura to participate. As they enter the hall they were greeted by the other Rookie nine. The Rookie Nine consists of 3 teams: Kakashi’s Sasuke, Sakura and Naruto, Asuma’s Shikamaru, Ino and Chouji, Kurenai’s Hinata, Kiba and Shino. After the Genins chatted about each other they were joined by other genin named Yakushi Kabuto, who has participated in Chuunin Exam seven times but failed every time. He then advices the rookies about the exam.

Sasuke then request information about Gaara of Sand and Rock Lee of Konoha. Kabuto states that Rock Lee is an expert in Tajitsu while he has nil ability in Genjitsu and Ninjitsu. While Gaara on other hand is mysterious and her actual powers are yet unknown. However, Kakashi outside the room is reconsidering his decision to make sasuke and Sakura and Naruto appear for Chuunin exam. Kabut asks all the rookies to keep a low profile but naruto shouts that they won’t loose from any of them. The sound team is annoyed with Kabuto and decides to attack him but he manages to save himself from the attack. But in the process his glasses breaks and he vomits on the ground.
